Kuwait's #1 ISP choose :)Smilie Java games to launch online channel

Kuwait's #1 ISP, QualityNet, has launched a new gaming channel to complement the existing AAA multiplayer server offering.
The ISP has licensed almost the entire :)Smilie Java catalogue.

The selection of games, now available to play includes almost the entire Java games catalogue, including prennial favourites Pool, Darts, BarWars, BugBuster, Sam Spade, Super Bowling, etc.

Visitors can currently play the games completely free or register with the site to enable high score saving and further added site features.

In a pleasingly straight forward process 18 game licenses were negotiated in August and the games were up and running, installed on brand new QualityNet servers, in mid-September.

Once the success of the games is proven (which we know won't be long) it is hoped that QualityNet will begin to roll out the games to sister sites.

As with many, if not most, of this type of business deal, all negotiations, product transfers, and installations were conducted on an entirely remote basis through email, phone and internet. This is undoubtedly the way to do 21st century business!
