SLINGO LICENSE SMILIE GAMES FOR SITE EXPANSION
The US slot machine and bingo games company, Slingo, have commissioned 8 co-branded Smilie Java games to launch a new gaming channel on their site www.slingo.com. Slingo already boasts "America's favourite online game" with their Slingo game property having over 2 billion plays, thanks to strategic alignments with AOL. They identified Smilie's games as a high quality, good value proposition for the expansion of their site content and the development of an integrated online games channel.
The games integrate with the Slingo site's login and registration systems, together with the usual script based serverside score saving mechanics. The developments were co-branded thereby ensuring Smilie's brand reach is also further expanded.
The games were an immediate success, quickly showing the key benefits of customising Smilie's existing properties. On completion of the development works and installation, Hans Klasson, VP of Operations for Slingo.com, wrote to us saying "… all games are live and well - people are loving the new games!"
